Does My Family Cookbook sync between my devices?

Yes - syncing is automatic across supported Apple devices.

Make sure the devices are signed into the appropriate iCloud account and that iCloud is enabled.

Can I add my own recipes?

Yes - you can create your own recipes and add details, ingredients, instructions, categories, and other recipe information.

Can I import recipes from websites?

Yes - you can import recipes from most major recipe websites and blogs, which can save you from entering the recipe manually.

How do I add recipe ingredients to my grocery list?

You can add ingredients from your saved recipes directly into the grocery list while viewing them. In addition, you can add ingredients from the recipes in your meal plan from the grocery list view.

My Family Cookbook can also combine matching ingredients to help simplify your shopping list.

Can I add grocery items that aren't part of a recipe?

Yes - you can add your own items directly to the grocery list for household items, snacks, supplies, or anything else you need to purchase.

Can I plan meals for the week?

Yes - the meal planner lets you organize meals by day using recipes from your cookbook.

Can I share my cookbook with family and friends?

Yes - sharing is supported so that you can make cookbook information available to family members and/or friends you choose.

Why isn't a change appearing on another device?

First, confirm that both devices have an internet connection and are signed into the appropriate iCloud account.

If the change still does not appear, open My Family Cookbook on both devices and allow time for iCloud synchronization to complete.
